We believe that the true believer will by the Holy Spirit’s leading be drawn to worship God communally and to fellowship with other believers regularly. (Joshua 22:27; 1 Chronicles 16:29; Nehemiah 10:39; Psalm 68:26; Psalm 84:10; 100:4; 149:1; John 4:24; Acts 2:28; 42-47; Romans 12:1; Hebrews 10:25; 1 John 1:3,6&7)

[edit] Service Time

Here at Covenant Church, we observe two worship services each and every Sunday. (9:30am and 6:30pm) Special services are held on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Good Friday and Ascension Day or any other time the elders deem appropriate and necessary.

[edit] Worship Style

Our worship style can be categorized as classical or traditional with the Pastor taking the lead role. God is the focus of our worship and as we listen to his Word proclaimed, the congregation responds with singing, prayers and offerings. Those possessing vocal or instrumental gifts are encouraged to use them to enhance the overall worship experience of the congregation to the glory of God.

[edit] Dress

While God is more concerned about how we look on the inside (Job 29:14; Romans 13:14; Galatians 3:27) most members of the congregation dress in business casual.

[edit] Child Care

Child care and nursery services are available at both services. Following opening praises and the children’s message, Sunday School classes are offered for children up to grade 3 during the balance of the service.

[edit] Accessiblity

The sanctuary and fellowship hall, where we worship and have coffee afterwards, are completely wheelchair accessible. Our front entrance has a drop-off spot, no stairs, and designated parking spots

[edit] Hearing and Visual Helps

There are headphone devices available for those who are unable to otherwise hear the service. Large-print hymnals and songbooks are available also.
