[edit] Welcome to Covenant's Sunday School Page

Join us each Sunday as we learn more about Jesus and His Word!

Sunday School children will learn about Bible times, the life of Jesus and sharing God’s love with others. Currently at Covenant we are using the curriculum from Cook Communications as it follows a chronological timeline that works its way through the Bible making sure to have the celebration stories fall at the right time of year

We have also incorporated our own combined lessons on special Sundays (Easter, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving etc…). These combined lessons allow all the children in our program to enjoy a morning together singing songs, playing games, listening to a Bible story and making a theme related craft. The children seem to really enjoy the time they spend in fellowship on these days. The new addition has made these gatherings even more enjoyable with some extra space.

Meeting: Every Sunday (all year round) children are dismissed during the morning service

Ages:

Little Lambs - children ages 3 and 4 (born in 2003 and 2004)

Busy Bees - children ages 5 and 6 (born in 2001 and 2002)

Eager Beavers - children aged 7 (born in 2000)

Kingdom Kids (meeting the second Sunday of each month) - children aged 8, 9 and 10

[edit] 'COSMIC CITY SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL:'

We are getting set to start Cosmic City: the Sunday school version! All children who are currently in Sunday School are automatically enrolled (this includes Kingdom Kids). We also welcome any child between ages 3-10 who would like to join us for the summer, just come on out to our first “voyage” on Sunday June 29th. We will be taking weekly voyages starting June 29th and every Sunday until August 31st. We will begin each voyage together in Alpha Base (upstairs room) where we will sing songs and hear a Bible story. After some time together we will be splitting into three age groups to have some fun and to dig deeper in the Bible lessons. We are preparing games for Astroid Alley and crafts for Supernova Supermart as well as experiments in Wonder U, learning lab. It is going to be out of this world! See you there.
