“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18) Greetings from the Lord and His family at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church. Whether you are a non-Christian, a new Christian, or some one who has experienced both the blessings and challenges of knowing Jesus as your Lord and Savior for many years, here at Covenant it is our desire for you and for us all to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ as individuals, as a congregation, as members of a community and as members of the church universal. God’s Word makes it clear that knowing about Jesus, knowing who He is, knowing what He has done for us, is not enough. (Psalm 92:12-15; Ephesians 2:21-22; Ephesians 4:15; 2 Thessalonians 1:3; 1 Peter 2:2) There’s more, so much more that we need to know in order to experience peace beyond understanding, (Philippians 4:7) joy beyond measure (John 15:11) and a hope that springs eternal. (Romans 15:13) God is not content to leave us as we are and neither should we. Come grow with us! |
